Enzo Maresca insists he was please with Chelsea performance in Sunday’s 2-1 Premier League win over Newcastle United.
“It’s very satisfying to get the three points and the performance was particularly satisfying. I think it was a complete performance both with and without the ball. In some moments we were incredibly good with and without the ball,” Maresca
“Overall I’m very happy with everything, but especially the playing time. When we didn’t have the ball and we pressed together, we fought together.”
Nicholas Jackson gave the Blues an early lead but Newcastle equalised through Alexander Isak to level the scores at half-time.
However, a few minutes into the second half, Cole Palmer scored a goal to help the team take the lead again and it was the winning goal for Chelsea to win and take 3 points successfully.
